Minerva Metro Theatre - Potts Point

A$520.00

A stunning Art Deco theatre in Potts Point / Kings Cross. Originally a live venue, it was converted to the Metro Cinema in 1950, before returning to live shows in 1969. It ceased operating as a theatre in 1979, and was then occupied by a production company. It now lays in waiting for the decision on its next role.

The sculpture is made from eco-friendly resin-plaster with acrylic detail pieces. All materials are sourced locally, made 100% in Sydney. Each model is framed using sustainably sourced Birch plywood.

Size: 62x32x8cm frame
Total Weight: Approximately 8kg
The model is framed in Birch Plywood with a hanger for wall-mounting.

Each model is hand-cast with its own small deviations in colour, finish and texture and may include minor imperfections or air pockets conducive with a plaster finish.

We strongly recommend that the hanging point is in a stud or strong fixing point due to the weight of the model.
