Red brick double front
The Red Brick double front home is a quintessential Australian suburban dwelling. A simple building, they were built for a postwar boom in suburbia for growing families from the 1950s-80s. Design-wise, the red brick double front were simple buildings that featured a double staggered façade, with a bedroom at the front that steps back to a lounge room and/or the front door.
The sculpture is made from eco-friendly resin-plaster with acrylic detail pieces. All materials are sourced locally, made 100% in Sydney. Each model is framed using sustainably sourced Birch plywood.
Size: 32x22x8cm frame
Each model is hand-cast with its own small deviations in colour and texture.
